The SEE Water Committee is a citizens’ advocacy group for wiser water usage. Our goal is to help people in Sarasota County SEE water issues and SEE water solutions.
The SEE Water committee has identified several wiser water usage practices for our area. To promote them, we have created Connect The Drops, our campaign for wiser water usage for citizens. We have a unique group of members including several experts in sustainability from our community. Our members include:

Because of the unique make-up of individuals and our citizens perspective, we have the unique ability to “Connect The Drops” to advocate for steps citizens can take to reduce their water use. The Connect The Drops campaign is the result of 18 months of study and conversation. There is no other citizen advocacy group for wiser water usage in our area.
Our approach focuses on promoting collaboration and coalitions. We have already received help from local companies, Eco-Technologies, which provided 100 aerators for the attendees at FLOW, and SCOPE, which provided 500 aerators for presentations around the county. As a group of citizens, we are uniquely poised to work with organizations including water utilities, foundations and for-profit companies.
